Win a Trip for 2 to Pelee Island’s Winery!

Register to win a trip to Pelee Island for 2 adults!

Want to visit the winery on Pelee Island? Take a chance and register to win a trip for 2 adults on July 10-12, 2013. The drawing is May 15 so be sure to register before then! Come by between May 1-3 for a preview – sample some Pelee Island wines!

You must have a valid US Passport. Includes accommodations and ferry ride. More details in store. This is one of our favorite wineries; every ecosystem in Canada is represented in this, Canada’s most southern land mass. Pelee Island has one of the longest growing seasons and is one of Canada’s oldest grape-growing regions and is a most unique microclimate. Two German winemakers employ their skilled training and modern technology and get credit for the award-winning, high quality wines produced at the winery today. For more info about Pelee Island, visit their site here.

At Sher Bliss, we stock many of the Pelee wines.  The extremely popular Sweet Merlot and Pinot Grigio belie their names as neither is truly sweet and the Merlot actually finishes dry. The Pinot Grigio is not dull and watery, but light and crisp. For the true wine enthusiast there is a Gamay Noir Zweigelt, an unusual juicy wine with a spicy finish, and two distinctly different Pinot Noirs and a Cab Franc.

Wed, May 1 – Fri, May 3

Come in and sample these wines during regular store hours. Samples priced from $2.50 per two ounce pour.
