This Week News chose Sher-Bliss roasted cauliflower with chocolate BBQ sauce as Recipe of the Week

Roasted cauliflower with chocolate barbecue sauce.

Ingredients and procedure

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Take 2 bags of frozen cauliflower and toss them with c olive oil

And 2 tsp toasted cumin seeds. Lay on a flat metal tray.

Place in oven and stir cauliflower occasionally until brown, 5 to 10 minutes.

Heat 1/2 cup of sweet barbecue sauce and 3 tblsp. of melted milk chocolate and drizzle on prepared cauliflower.

Serve with toothpicks.

Enjoy this with a variety of wines-between the bbq and the chocolate try a spicy and full-bodied red perhaps a Zin, or a blend with Malbec. If it is a white you’re after, an aromatic would do this justice, or a sparklingChenin Blanc.

Wine find of the week at Sher-Bliss Wine + Chocolates

Blue Franc Lemberger 2008 Photo

Blue Franc Lemberger 2008

A unique wine from Washington, with characteristics of Gamay, Zinfandel and Pinot Noir.

Our find of the week-from Steele Wines is Blue Franc Lemberger 2008. At just $14.99 it’s food-friendly and would be great in the summer paired with bbq and cheeses with its soft tannins and medium body. Delicious served with a slight chill, we are going to mightily suggest it as a Thanksgiving wine! Lemberger is an Austrian varietal whose ancient name, Blau Frankisch, literally meaning “blue grape from France”. Not to be confused with a potent cheese by the same name, this is one beautiful wine!
